2008 sees St. Bartholomew's church celebrating the 100th anniversary of the church's opening. To celebrate this momentous occasion in the Catholic life of the community in Norbury there are a number of events planned for the Parish Centenary Year.

The parish has adopted two charities to benefit from its Centenary Year -
St. Christopher's Hospice and the The Association for the Propagation of the Faith

Monday 5^th May 2008 (12 noon) – Mass with Bishop Paul to celebrate the opening of our centenary year
Wednesday 14^th May 2008 (7.30pm) - Metropolitan Police Male Voice Choir concert
Sunday 22^nd June 2008 – Senior Citizens’ party
Saturday 12^th July 2008 – Celebration of Married Life (St. Andrew's School)
August 2008 – Parish participation in the Southwark Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes
Monday 29^th September 2008 – Centenary Commemorative Mass with Archbishop Kevin
Saturday 18^th October 2008 – Parish Dinner & Dance
Sunday 9^th November 2008 – (7.30pm) Choral Concert – Sir John Stainer’s ‘St. Mary Magdalen’
Sunday 21^st December 2008 (3pm) – Parish Carol Concert
Sunday 11^th January 2009 – Celebration of Baptism
Sunday 15^th February 2009 (3pm) – Anointing of the Sick
Sunday 1^st to Monday 9^th March 2009 – Parish Retreat
April 2009 – Youth event
Sunday 31^st May 2009 – Concluding Mass on the feast of Pentecost
