2019 Choir Outing 30 June - Final Reminder

Meet at Norbury Station at 09:20 to allow time to catch the 09:32 train to Victoria. Those of us who wish to travel from elsewhere will meet up for Mass.

The Service Music at Westminster Cathedral for 10:30 Mass and 15:30 Vespers is now revealed here. Wonderful for the great feast of Ss. Peter & Paul.

There will be time to explore the Cathedral shop after Mass and/or have a coffee before.....

Zizzi in Cardinal Walk (virtually adjacent to last year's venue) has now been booked for 13:00. Allows time for post-Mass coffees for those who want to partake of them.

The cost of the meal will be met by the Choir (thank you, once again, Doris), but I remind you that all drinks should be ordered, and paid for, by yourselves.

The Sunday afternoon's 16:45 Organ Recital will be played by Alexander Hamilton from Westminster Abbey. The Music will be announced here.

2019 Choir 50 Mass - 11:30 22 September - EXTREMELY IMPORTANT

The next two practices on Tuesdays 2 July and  17 September are 'must attend' occasions, please, as they will be our final rehearsals before our big occasion! A final reminder of the music we shall be singing. I am still waiting to hear if we will have an Archbishop....!

The July Jigsaw -  A final reminder of what you'll be missing........

Last month's answer - it was Pratts and Payne, a bar almost opposite where George Pratt's old department store was, and acknowledging Cynthia Payne's contribution to Streatham 's history! Some good answers, but none complete!

Latest Forthcoming Dates List

The latest Dates List (dated 19 June) may be found HERE. Hard copies will be distributed at our Choir Party on 9 July.

13 October 2019

There is a possibility I might ask you to attend the 11:30 Mass - it will only be hymns, and will not be obligatory. Perhaps you'd be kind enough to pencil into your diaries..... Thank you.

Music Checking

We shall have a number of items to remove from our folders on 16 July, and a number of replacement items.

Please do your best to be there, or make arrangements for someone to do your folder for you. We shall not have the time when we start back in September to mess around.
