Dear all,

As you will all be aware, the Government has made its announcement regarding the expected 21 June 'easements'. But....

The 21 June revised guidance from the CBCEW that we need to comply with is still awaited.

It should become available here. It is apparent that nothing has changed.

Choir will not now begin again until (hopefully!) Tuesday 14 September.

Whatever the feelings are amongst us all, the reality for the Choir is that nothing will change from 21 June.

For all the comparisons being made between choirs singing in church and public singing at other events, the reality is that we sing *indoors*, and that at St. Bart’s we sing *over and above* the people below. Six singers still? Not quite sure how we managed a few more last Christmas and Easter!! Delighted we did though!!!

It’s hugely disappointing, but that’s where we are.

In the circumstances, I’ve decided that we will now wait until September before getting together again, and we’ll then hopefully start afresh.

Unless anything changes again (bets anyone!?) we’ll commence Choir practices again on 14 September, there will be a Choir Mass of Thanksgiving on 21 September at 19:30, practice on 28 September and our October Mass at 11:30 on 3 October.

We hope to be able to arrange a party after our Mass of Thanksgiving, but this may depend on the Guides offering access to the hall to us.....

Love, Tony x

PS: if anyone has lost a whole trout, please speak to Mary M.....

Prayers, please

Please do keep John in your prayers as his treatment continues.

Please also continue to pray for Jane, Rosie, Terry J., Daniel, Maria's recovery, Veronica's sister Monica, Ken's niece Beth, and Mary & Frank Elliott.

St. Bart's Memories No. 46
