Dear all, Foundation Mass for Deceased Members of St. Bartholomew's Choirs This annual Mass, celebrated on the Sunday nearest to the Feast of St. Cecilia on 22 November, comes to an end in November this year. I have already taken steps towards ensuring it is renewed for a further 25 years from November 2023. Choir Dates List 2022 The latest Dates List is to be found here. I hope you all have the relevant dates in your diaries, or printed and pinned to your notice boards! Forthcoming Poly Masses Herewith the anticipated Music Lists for our April Mass, Palm Sunday Stations & Benediction and the Triduum. Forthcoming Plainchant Masses Herewith the anticipated Music List for the Palm Sunday Mass. Forthcoming Hymn Choir Masses Herewith the anticipated Music List for the March Mass. All are welcome to come and sing, and I do hope you will join me in supporting Rosemary. Frances Carter - Eulogy Please bear in mind that this is the draft version, and may not absolutely reflect what was read at her Funeral Mass. The Queen's Platinum Jubilee (Repeated from last month) With this in mind I have ordered, and am delighted to be able to share with you here, a piece of music commissioned for the occasion from Thomas Hewitt Jones by the Royal School of Church Music. I intend using it at our June Mass (or possibly July's). I don't often have the opportunity to send you new music in advance, so I'm hopeful some of you might be able to learn it, or, at least, become familiar with it, by the end of April. There are some audio rehearsal tracks for each part here which may help you (and one of the tracks me!). It's not difficult, honestly! Love, Tony x |

Prayers, please Prayers for Terry F., please, that she makes a complete recovery. Also for John, Jane (as she continues with her treatment of, and operations on, her eyes), Terry J. and Mary & Frank Elliott. Christine, Mary E. and (hopefully) Veronica intend to back with us at some stage soon. We're all looking forward to seeing them again (and hearing them!!). It was wonderful to see Rosemary back with us again on 1 March! |
