Dear all,

Holy Week and Easter seem so long ago already! Everything went really well, and I was delighted for you all, and for Sitso. There were many plaudits from people who were present at these wonderful liturgies in the ensuing days, which was most encouraging for us all.

I'd be really grateful for a turn-out for our Parish youngsters' First Communion Masses on 13  & 14 May at 12:00. I'm always dedicated to supporting these Masses (and the Confirmation Mass) as a sense of duty from us, the Parish Choir - please do support me in this endeavour, in the way you always have over too many years to count!! Thank you, so much.

I intend to revisit Kitson's Mass in C Minor during May - it will be new music for many of you, and those who believe they know it will swiftly find that they may need to re-learn it! I'd really like to add this Mass to the three or four (or five) we regularly sing. For 2024 I'm looking at the possibility of getting copies of a (relatively) simple Mass by Alphonse Cary to add to our general repertoire of Masses.

Love, Tony x

Please remember the soul of Dave Clark (Rosemary's brother-in-law) in your prayers - he passed away on Monday 24 April - please also remember Celia, and Geraldine and Paul, his wife and their children.

Father Michael Jones continues his recovery, and has begun saying some of the scheduled Masses once again. Please keep him in your prayers.

Please also continue to keep Maria, Terry F., Jane, Terry J. and Mary & Frank in your prayers.

The view from my back door on Tuesday 18 April! A pretty easy 48 pieces.

For your coffee breaks

I was sent this, and found it fascinating. 'PERFECT response to a Muslim questioning the nature of Christ'. It then led me to this: 'Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus' which I had anticipated dipping in and out of, but ended up watching from beginning to end. Sadly, Nabeel Qureshi passed away at a young age.
